Generate practice exams from your course materials
Not generic question banks — a full practice exam written from your own materials, in the style of the example questions your professor actually gives.
How it works
You upload two things: the study materials (lectures, notes, readings) and a few example questions from your professor — an old quiz, a sample midterm, anything that shows the style. Smara first drafts a blueprint of the exam (sections, coverage, question mix), then writes each section against your materials: standalone questions plus multi-part case vignettes where the subject calls for them.
Every question comes with a worked answer key — not just the right letter, but why each distractor is wrong. Take the exam in the app with scoring and per-question review, or print it to a clean PDF and sit it on paper.
After the exam
The questions you missed can be turned into flashcards with one click — a companion deck built from the answer key, scheduled into your daily reviews so the gaps actually close. Miss statistics accumulate across retakes, so the exam page shows which questions keep going wrong.
Honest limits
The exam is AI-written from your materials. It's good at coverage and structure and at matching the style of the examples you give it — but you should treat the answer key the way you'd treat a classmate's: check anything surprising against the source. The free plan includes one full exam so you can judge the quality on your own course before paying anything.
